Refund policy

RETURNS

We have a 30-day return policy for products purchased directly from our website. Returns can be made on all unused items excluding those that were final sale. Prior to making a return, please email us at support@muteme.com with your order number. Our team will then guide you through the entire return process. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be returned in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

For those who backed our project via Kickstarter and/or Indiegogo, we very much appreciate your support in bringing this product to life. When you backed our project, you supported us as creators to try to make something new—and went along for the ride.  As creators, we completed the project and fulfilled each reward in less than eight months which is rare for a hardware/software product. We will continue to update the software adding new features and fixing bugs so that you have the best product available. However, we will not be able to offer refunds to anyone who purchased through these two platforms (Indiegogo/Kickstarter). To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

The following will not qualify for a refund: 

Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Any item that is custom engraved

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item(s). We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. We reserve the right to modify refund amounts based on the condition of the item and/or missing accessories. Shipping costs are not refundable.

You are responsible for shipping costs to return the device unless it is a hardware defect that has been determined by our support team after troubleshooting. We recommend USPS First Class Package for two devices or less.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7-10 business days.
