What changed
AWS ended support for the Amazon Chime service on February 20, 2026, including meeting hosting and Business Calling features. The previous configuration steps on this URL are obsolete. You do not need to change permissions or install an older MuteMe app to follow them.
Set up the app you use now
Your MuteMe setup depends on your current meeting app and operating system.
On a Mac, start with the permission prompts in MuteMe. If a permission was declined, use our macOS permissions guide.
