I saw the original MuteMe on an old Shark Tank show and thought this would be a good addition to my home office set-up. When I went to the MuteMe website, I saw the MuteMe mini and said even better! I am really glad I brought the product; it works exactly as advertised and is seamless with Teams. I really like the LED colors to visually remind me when I am on or off mute and so easy to just reach off camera to mute / unmute myself.
Great product and highly recommend!
Charles D.
This is a game-changing device for anyone (like me!) who shares an office, or is involved in more than one video meeting per month. At a glance knowing whether or not you're on mute, and being able to change that status with a quick tap... absolute bliss. Great device that is now part of my everyday carry kit.
Mark S.
It slow to respond. Time to mute/unmute in MS Teams is about 1 sec+ on a high spec win11 machine. Also muteme-client.exe opens 15 processes and uses nearly 1GB of ram. What's it doing??
Volodymyr D.
it works, that's it
Sven J.
Simple product, with a decent amount of available customizations, that just does what it says. Keeps you from having to hunt for and click that little mic icon, when on a call. Wonder if you’re muted or not? Hard to miss the light. I didn’t say red light, because you can decide what it should be. If you want red to mean ‘on air’ you can do that. If you want it to mean ‘muted’, your choice.
Don
So much easier to hit a big button then find the mouse, see where the heck the pointer is on the screen and locate the darn mute/unmute button on the screen. Simple, but effective.
Mike J.
I have had my MuteMe button for a couple of years. It just keeps getting better with each software update! With the visual color cue, I never talk when muted and, more importantly, never accidentally talk when I'm NOT muted. If you work from a desk and spend lots of hours on video calls simplify your life and give MuteMe a try.
James G.
I liked the button so much that I ordered a second one for a different desktop set up. Unfortunately, my company just blocked the software for security reasons.
Brian S.
Aside from like one time it got out of sync with Zoom, it's been absolutely glorious and wonderful to have a button that's not just a dedicated physical mute button, but the status lights have been great for me to easily see if I'm muetd or not, but _also_ for my kids to see if I'm on a call. Thanks for making the perfect product that I didn't know I needed!
Tim
I love the simplicity of the MuteMe devices! One focused purpose, and it does it so well!
Carl Z.
MuteMe makes meetings so much easier. I can visibly see the mute status at glance. I can mute and unmute much faster and don't have to look for the mute button on the computer. No more talking on mute! It's great and I recommend it to anyone who is in lots of online meetings! Thanks for a great product.
Richard W.
Makes call easy to manage and obvious state stopping mute-unmute errors
Tony G.
It has really helped me stop saying "oh sorry, I was talking on mute". The red button and the red frame around my screen keeps me safe!
Sanjay D.
works very well. Using it for more than 2 years.
Salvatore G.
There was a long delay in getting it signed off, but it arrived and is working smoothly on the CachyOS operating system.
Brandon R.
Setup was a bit longer than anticipated, but once I got the integrations setup and colors selected, it's great! Being able to mute/unmute while not even having the meeting as the primary open window is super convenient; I don't have to find my meeting tab or app to then navigate to the mute/unmute button, and the color choices of the device are great.
Jon T.
What a fantastic tool! Between Google Meet meetings at work and Zoom for graduate school, this device has removed the questions of "Am I muted?" and hearing my colleagues and cohort say "You're on mute" after a great idea.
Rowan N.
Backed the original on Kickstarter and liked it so much I bought the revised version and the mini when they released. Use them every day on Teams calls with work. Fantastic product and software.
Ron E.
Great integration with teams, in multiple monitors with rdp session it’s meaningful to capture not only the device but the team meeting state
albert p.
Mute control at my finger-tips. Never again will I mistake if I am on mute or not. If i need to cough, or if the dog barks, I know I will not disturb the call. It works 100% of the time and integrates perfectly with Teams and Zoom.
Todd K.
best in the beeswax. no more "you're on mute!"
Dustin P.
Fantastic product. I use this on every call and, being in Cybersecurity, that's a lot. Keep up the great work!
Jason D.
Hats off to the team.
Terri C.
The MuteMe button is working great. I wish I had a similar button the turn on and off the video!
Mark
Saves all the fumbling around looking for the app when you need to come off mute. Family member comes in and starts talking? Tap the MuteMe to mute and then remind them to check the bezel. Love it.
Jennifer
So very useful! Easy to set up and use, and I like that you can customize the colors.
Chris
I am a 100% remote worker and I love this button. It gives me peace of mind about the status of my mic during meetings in case my dog is barking, or I have to fart. Perfect!
Ahmed A.
Simply made my life easier during meetings
Murray W.
MuteMe is so intuitive and clear. When I have many overlapping apps open on my desktop and have to deal with three or four different meeting apps throughout the day, the MuteMe button saves a lot of context switching. It is always accessible without searching and clearly reminds me of the mic state. I have reversed the colours to the more traditional RED for a live mic (danger of unwanted sound) and GREEN for safely offline.
I R.
Great product for a work from home employee with a very loud cat!
Jeremy B.
Waste of money. Completely regret buying it. Software is clunky and interruptive. Wish it was just plug and play. I would not refer this or buy again.
Randy F.
Works like a charm!
Olivwer
Well supported and functions perfectly
Brett L.
Former radio news anchor who stumbled on this and love it. It blinks red when my mic is hot, and glows green when I'm in the clear. A great addition to my WFH setup.
Tim H.
I really like the momentary push-to-talk function and I use it several times daily. I actually have it sitting on the floor and I use my toe to push-to-talk. What would be really cool is if you had a fairly heavy duty mechanical USB footswitch available.
Matthew D.
Got this as a giveaway at a trade show and I love it. I was able to follow the instructions to do a full setup for MS Teams. I do wonder if the steps needed would be too difficult for some people, but I did it just fine and I love being able to mute and unmute while Teams is minimized or Im on another tab - it makes multitasking so easy
Colin .
They work and the solve the problem they are positioned to address. Great product.
Ray R.
It works very well for MS Teams, even without any local admin privileges. Users just have to make sure they've taken the steps to activate "Level 3" access so muting within MS Teams syncs with the button.
Ian S.
Great product, works straight out of the box.
Jan M.
Easy purchase, simple setup. Easy to use. Great find!
Brennan A.
It works great!
Chris
Works as designed with easy set up.
Noah V.
I love my MuteMe! It was so easy to set up, and it works great, every single time I use it.
Richard T.
Always know when I’m muted or not!!
Eric W.
I don’t like it- and doesn’t work well. Oh well, maybe I can find something else.
Robert C.
I liked it so much, I bought one for home and one for the office. And others have bought it on my recommendation.
CokeRanger
Love it. Easy to use.
Mike J.
I have been using MuteMe for 3+ years and it just gets better. The ability to quickly mute or unmute a call and the light indicator is a must have if you spend you days on video calls.
Phil S.
Great idea and a well-executed product. The light has an attractive glow (just like in the pictures), the button works reliably, and the software integrations (probably the most important part) are well-supported.
João P.
Great product. Exceeded expectations…
Tim M.
quick delivery from the US to the UK. Was a gift for a fired and he loves it.
Ian M.
A great addition to both laptops and desktops. Mute or unmute regardless of your focus. A life saver.
DJ M.
A control that mutes and unmutes regardless of the current application is so valuable during meetings! The built-in light tells me at a glance whether I'm muted, and I can customize the light to match the way I work.
Philip H.
Works great forms Zoom meetings
Peter S.
good to avoid "you are on mute" situations and also "please mute yourself"...
Jennifer D.
I bought the original MuteMe during Covid when we switched to all video conferencing and it's been a game changer, helping me avoid accidental mutes and open mics. More recently, I bought the mini version for meetings on the go and it's just as great. Love the products. So easy to configure and use.
Michael .
So far this device is great! Fairly easy to install and it's been working seamlessly. No major issues.
Because the work laptop prohibits ext USB devices I can't perform the firmware upgrades but that's the only issue at the moment. The MuteMe functions just fine but I'll have to use my personal laptop to upgrade firmware.
Simone V.
I am using the mute me buttons at home (home office), but also when working from the office and when traveling. Great product!
Jeroen .
Intuitive, works with Teams, Google and Webex. Like the design and intuitive interaction.
Christopher I.
The world has too many mute buttons. At least this one tells me if I am and I can put it where I want.
Brian S.
I love it. Everyone who works from home or is regularly on virtual meetings needs one.
MELISSA H.
Works but at times is not in synch with my external speakers
Joey D.
Wonderful product!! Use all the time!
David S.
Helps me speak when my computer screen is covered in windows.
Robert C.
This is a great product that allows me to quickly see if I am muted and to turn my mic on and off.
Cade T.
Love this thing, but did have to enable API on Teams, but once I did worked like a champ!
Jeanné S.
I bought my MuteMe at the height of the pandemic when they were on Kickstarter and never looked back. It was a game changer when I worked from home and now that I'm back in the office it works to keep coworkers out of my office when I'm in the middle of a project or on a meeting. Auto responds to when I join Team meetings, manually changes colors when I tap it - perfection. I use only red and green because it's universally understood but there are other colors too.
Felicia C.
Must Have for Working from Home - or anywhere if you're in virtual meetings. No more trying to find the meeting window to unmute/mute yourself. Makes meetings so much easier. The light indicates if you are muted or unmuted and gives quick reassurance with a glance to make sure you can cough or whatever. You can choose colors that fit your personal style to reflect your muted/unmuted state. 10/10 would recommend.
Lydia C.
Love using this so if my spouse walks into the room he can tell if it is ok to talk. Green is mute, Red is open mic. The ability to configure the colors for what makes sense for me is the best.
collin
Its pretty nice actually. Its a device that just makes life a tad easier, would be really cool if there were a wireless variant. Quality is good too, definitely recommend.
Mike P.
muteme as been real good at my meetings.
Gil H.
Love it. It's the best tool I've added to my workflow.
Timothy H.
It's great! Everyone who sees me use this device wants one too!
The website tells you exactly what easy steps to follow to make sure it works with whatever communication software platform you choose. I have it set up the way I like it, and my boss has a totally different lighting setup on his. It is very customizable and works consistently.
I even came back and bought the usb-c Mini Mute Me for my laptop on the go.
Todd K.
Best in the biz! No more "you're on mute" calls. I've purchased about 10 MuteMes... two for myself and the others for family and friends. Workflow game changer. Love the person who set it up as a foot switch. My dog would eat eat it if I did that!
Sarah .
Use it when I work from home so the family can easily see when I'm on a hot-mic and when I'm just on a listening session/webinar and can be interrupted. Works great!
Javier F.
Very straightforward experience. Let me focus in other things rather than looking for the Google Meets tab.
Brett L.
After decades in broadcasting where a flashing-red light indicated my mic was on, this was a welcome addition to my desktop. Now, I don't have to find the video conference screen and track down the icon to see if my mic is hot, I can see the blinking red or blinking green indicating if "I'm on mute" or not.
Kelly T.
My manager recommended MuteMe, and it's awesome! I love how easy it is to use and turn on/off mute. We use multiple meeting platforms, and they all work differently with MuteMe, which is still superior to using the meeting controls. Zoom is the best integration.
Caleb .
Very nice indicator of your status
Andrew H.
Invaluable for Teams/Zoom meetings, don't be that guy who always needs to be reminded that he's muted.
Joe S.
I've been using MuteMe for a few weeks now. It works well and has saved me time and time again in being in the wrong status on meetings. Fast and easy to setup. The hardware is high quality as well as the software. Keep up the good work (MuteMe folks and whomever is reading this)!
Eric Corey F.
I tap this button 50 times a day and just love it. The visual light is perfect and for some reason much less stressful than moving to mouse to a MUTE button all of the time. Love it!
Barrett W.
Super great product!. I work from home and this is great to be able to let my family immediately know if I am on a call or not. Also great because it is a physical button I can tap to mute or unmute without scrambling to find the button on screen. The visual cue and customizations are great. I've recommended this to everyone after the classic "Kyle, you're on mute."
11/10 Fabulous!
cassandra
Works extremely well!
Joerg M.
Works perfectly with MS Teams, our new office communication tool. Didn't quite work with (german version of) webex, which we used before.
When it works, it's great!
Kevin W.
Great little device. Helps with a shared office space.
Don S.
I love this product! My brother turned me onto it and he was right. I can easily tell when I am muted or unmuted without finding the right window. And I love the way you can customize the colors to fit your particular mood/style.
Richard R.
It's useful as a toggle button, but it has failed as a visual indicator of my Zoom mute status. The MuteMe button does not sync reliably with Zoom's mute status. Nearly 100 percent of the time, Zoom meetings start with my audio source muted -- but the MuteMe will always display "green" (unmuted) at that time.
Nate W.
It's easy to press. That's what I wanted. That's what I got.
