This button is amazing, I use it on discord when i chat with my friends and since this button does not mute within applications and connects straight with your mic, it basically works everywhere, I can use it with video games in game chats too!!! 10/10 :)
Dayton B.
It's great. Only complaint is I want a way to turn off the audio notification that I'm on mute.
Alison S.
Have used it in our church so the congregation can see if they are muted. It's fixed to the ceiling just above the stage and works great, it's on a 5m usb3 extension cable. TBH we don't really use it as a mute button, it's more of an indicator light.
Jennifer V.
I loved your product so much I got some for my entire management team! We love how customizable it is and how seamlessly it works with Teams! Thanks for this amazing product that helps us not have to squint and fiddle around to find the mute button on screen anymore!
Jarrod D.
I've had the MuteMe for a few weeks now and am quite pleased. I work for a tech company and am on Teams and Zoom calls 20-30+ hours per week. Within the first day, I was sold and already pricing out what custom MuteMes would cost for our entire company. I've been on hundreds of Teams and Zoom calls since receiving it and only once has the app and the MuteMe been out of sync. I attribute that to a Zoom issue rather than the device itself.
Overall, I can't recommend MuteMe enough. I look forward to getting these across my organization.
Matthew G.
Must have device for anyone working remotely. Works great and no more "sorry i was on mute".
Steve J.
If everyone had MuteMe, we'd never encounter participants talking while on mute. Otherwise, talking while on mute continues to interrupt the flow of a meeting. I recommend MuteMe to everyone.
Neil M.
Very convenient. No more hunting for the mute button on my keyboard. Simply touch MuteMe and you now are muted. Touch again, and you now are heard.
Jon B.
Love the Mute Me button. Great way of making sure I am fully aware of whether I am muted on a call or not. No need to navigate to the zoom or Teams call screen to unmute… just tap the button!
Douglas M.
Love this gadget! Works flawlessly in Zoom and Teams, doesn't require Admin privileges to install the app. Very easy and intuitive to use, with customizable colors for Muted, Un-muted, etc.
The only thing I'm waiting for is for an update so that it isn't constantly lit up when NOT on a conference call. Currently need to manually exit the MuteMe app to make it go dark when not on a call, and manually re-start the app to get it working again when starting a call. If you don't care if it's lit up all the time, then that's not an issue.
Jonathan E.
Works with Teams! Just what I needed, Love it!
Thomas E.
Love it! I can keep working and if someone says my name I can quickly and easily unmute and speak. Its small enough to take to and from work with out issue. I am using a 1 ft cable to keep it a little closer. I love being able to change the colors and have it flash when muted. Thanks guys awesome job!
sheila h.
So easy to use! So obvious when you are on mute and when you are not. Very convenient!
Jeffrey N.
Bottom-line. It WORKS! It HELPS stop some of those embarrassing and at times annoying background things that just seem to happen. And it is FUN!
Elizabeth T.
This is a game changer! I am constantly working on multiple tabs, multiple screens and reaching for the mute me button is so much more efficient than searching for the right Teams/Zoom window. Also, the different colors alert others to if my mic is live or not. It's great
Ally D.
Only gave 4 stars since it sometimes doesn’t sync up correctly to mute/unmute, but for the most part it works really well and it’s so easy to use. I really like it!
Jeff Y.
It’s a little glitchy. When I start a meeting on teams I have to tap it twice or more to get it to work properly.
Victor T.
works, no frills and just works, the touch button part is a bit finicky at times, but overall it works.
Ryan O.
Great device. Frustrated only by backorder and shipping delay. Ordered in early November with website promising shipment by early December. Ended up getting them in January.
Noi N.
On both Mac (v11.6.2 - Big Sur) the lights did activate when in use with zoom. Please provide better troubleshooting resource. Great and product, just didn't work as cleanly as I hope.
Mark L.
The USB cable included is way too thick and stops the buttom from sitting flat on my desk, you need to get your own super thin/flexible cable.
The software is a little wonky, when you plug/re-plug it in, you have to reboot your machine for it to work right.
Otherwise, it does what it's supposed to. The colored light is helpful.
Rikki S.
I love it!! I have a dog that randomly decides to bark, and I am on zoom calls all day every day. This way, I can silence him within seconds. The easiest setting is if you don’t want your audience to be able to see that you have muted your mic. I happen to love that option (because sometimes I would just like to do it behind the scenes without anyone knowing), but some people may prefer to also see it muted on the Zoom tool bar (with the line through the microphone). Regardless of your personal preference, it’s great!
Max G.
It’s great, but the drawbacks are that it takes a second, sometimes two, for the mute/unmute to take effect. Not a reason to not buy it, but just be aware it’s not instantaneous like clicking the mute button within zoom. Still, it’s faster than getting my hand from the keyboard to the mouse, finding the zoom control bar, and clicking the button, so this product is still helpful. The only other con I’ve found after a month of using it is that at night I unplug it so the green light isn’t always on, but then the next day I have to go through a series of steps I still haven’t figured out yet to get it back to working. It’s like it has the re-set-up every time I plug it in. That’s annoying and frustrating and I’ve stopped plugging it in unless I’m going to be on zoom a LOT that day. Lastly, I can’t quite get the feel for the tap…sometimes it’s a just a slight tap, sometimes I have to bang on it with my finger for it to know I’m wanting it to engage. The type of press it needs isn’t consistent. Still, with all these downfalls, it’s the only kind of this product I’ve found, and I would buy it again—it’s that worth it. P.s. Yes you can change the colors on your own, there’s not a red button, and a blue button, etc. (That wasn’t clear in their advertising, because I tried to find a blue button to purchase. It’s just one button but the colors are controlled by the software interface.)

Works well!

I am on video conference calls all day and switching back and forth between Google Meet and Zoom. The "MuteMe" button has really come in handy and made any previous issues of "Oh, sorry I was on mute" completely go away. Additionally, being able to mute / unmute even when my video conference window is not active (hidden behind another window) is super handy. Really enjoying the product.
Howard B.
I produce a show remotely where I regularly talk to the host using an in-ear talk-back. In the past, I've had to manually mute my mic by changing the settings on my computer. Using the MuteMe button, I can set the mode to Push-to-Talk so that the talk-back is only open when I touch the button. I've looked for something like this for years and I'm so glad I finally found it. Absolutely fantastic piece of hardware. Awesome product!
Ian P.
I love it with zoom, but wish it fully integrated with Google Meet.
Michael I.
My first Device was defective. The support team went through some extensive troubleshooting with me. But it ended up I had a bad device. They promptly sent me a replacement which has been working flawlessly.
I primarily use teams, with zoom on occasion. The different levels of mute are extremely handy. I use the mute feature without anyone knowing I'm on mute primarily.
5 stars for support and for a great product.
Robin B.
Works well.
Mark P.
Works as advertised, and is definitely useful during video conference calls. My main gripe is that the driver software seems like a missed opportunity. It would be nice to be able to set up different “profiles” for different conferencing apps (as well as for when no app is running), with different lighting behavior for each profile. In particular I would like it if I could set things so that the MuteMe button only lights up when I have a call in progress…
susan k.
I absolutely love my MuteMe button - I can tell from across the room if I'm muted, and it works seamlessly with Microsoft Teams and all other applications I use remotely. Fabulous!
Sasa S.
I like the button but I really wish it was a physical push button and not just touch sensitive.
David T.
I'm on calls all day every day and I love how easy it is to mute and un-mutes, because I'll have dozens of windows up across my 43" monitor, multi-tasking, so trying to find the Teams, Zoom, Hangouts window is a struggle. MuteMe sits right next to my mouse so it's just a tap away. My wife likes it too so she knows when my mic is 'hot'.
Michael I.
my first device was a little wonky, but support was able to send me a new unit which is working perfectly.
it does exactly what i was looking for which is mute on different levels within teams.
Dan B.
I teach classes and coach online, and my clients often determine which tool to use - Zoom, Teams others. Having a single MuteMe button that lights red or green and works on either app no matter what window is selected is one of the most useful tools I use, and I use a fair few tools. It has very quickly become my most indispensable device.
Steve S.
It's awesome! I wanted a button, I got a button + a status indicator!
Josh R.
Loving this thing so far! I bounce in and out of Zoom, WebEx, Teams, and Skype depending on the client I’m on a call with and it works great with all of them 99% of the time. I do find that once in a while it seems to get out of sync but a quick reboot of zoom or whichever conference app solves it. Working across two screens (and with my MacBook multiple desktops open on each one), this solves my issue of needing to find the video call window to come off mute when appropriate (or more commonly to mute myself quickly when the dogs go nuts during an important call!).
Yves C.
Really Nice device very usefull when multi-tasking during a call. No longer have to find the app to mute or un-mute. Just need to tap the device
Gregory R.
Works well but sometimes times out with my Mac. It’ll go dark for several seconds. Not sure if the USB port is going to sleep due to power settings or if the device is flaky.

I love the idea of MuteMe. I was happy to see that the MiteMe was the brainchild of Sacramento Ca. Having been born and raised in Sacramento I was happy to support local business owners/operators. My MuteMe doesn’t have perfectly smooth color transistors like the MuteMe promotional videos and ads show. When I press on the capacitive touch surface there is a slight delay and the MuteMe flashes, kind of a blip, before changing from mute to talk or talk to mute. It may be my settings, but if Microsoft teams is not the window in focus the MuteMe some times doesn’t work. All in all for what it is, I was able to install on my work computer without IT approval (no admin privileges needed) it works, is customizable and can be set up with different settings and tiers of control for most popular video call/chat apps. Microsoft teams, zoom, webex, etc.
Eivind H.
Only Zoom is supported fully, other apps (like Google Meet) still need to wait for better support.
Jason S.
The button is not 100% reliable at muting Microsoft Teams on the level 3 setting. This makes me nervous, as I've been caught out a couple of times where the button said I was mute, but Teams wasn't muted. I find that muting then unmuting manually in Teams seems to get the app in sync, but it's an extra step to remember. There's obviously some improvement required here. But overall I find it a useful device.
Balazs K.
It works flawless, but I need the full integration with Teams on mac. Please work on it!
Tim S.
I’m enjoying not have to frantically look for the mute button on some hidden window, and the button works well enough. My two frustrations are that: 1) it currently only works in ‘basic’ sync mode with MS Teams, in which I do everything, and 2) it consumes a whole USB port because it won’t work through my USB hub, while everything else does. This may not be their fault, though, so I’ve only dropped 1 star.
Stefan M.
Very nice integration with Teams (my main use), works very well. Hope at some point Bluejeans is also getting support. In any case, thank you!
Jon L.
I love the physical button on my desk to know when I'm muted.
Robert Y.
This is perfect in the "work from home" world. If my kids see that it's green, they know that dad is busy.
David H.
I added a MuteMe to my work laptop so it would be easier to mute my Microsoft Teams meetings. This little guy just works! The bright light tells me when I'm muted so no more "You're muted!" comments from my coworkers! If you have remote meetings you need a MuteMe!
Ryan J.
As a full-time remote worker who sits on Zoom calls back-to-back all day, this little gadget is a life saver. I'm constantly toggling my mute and having a good visual indicator of my status is extremely helpful. I specifically like the the ability to control the sync level (1, 2, 3) with each application. My current headset is bluetooth and the built in mute button only does a hardware mute (doesn't also do a software / zoom mute). MuteMe solves that problem for me.
The only piece of constructive feedback I'd provide is that the capacitive touch is little too insensitive. I find I have to press it very intentionally. This could be solved by just changing the design of the device to a full button action... "click" to toggle mute setting.
Either way, awesome buy for the money. Very pleased with it!
Kevin O.
I love the functionality! Works great! The three modes is a nice feature, especially for "slow" computers. Anyone that uses video conferencing should have one. I especially love that it indicates to others in the area of my mute status. I also love that I don't have to fiddle with my mouse and find the "mute" button on the computer... all I have to do is tap my puck.
I only have two suggestions:
1) A longer USB cable so it can be located farther from the computer or USB hub (although a longer one can be purchased, if necessary)
2) Put a bit more effort into the quality of the illumination of the puck. When the LEDs are on, it looks a bit amateurish. Maybe some black masking on the inside near the top and bottom, so the illumination lines look more crisp and defined. Or maybe a design that isn't so diffused, using an acrylic or other glossy-type material where the LEDs intentionally create hot spots.
Wilkins F.
The bright customizable LED makes it easy to tell when I’m on mic, even from across the room! I never have to worry about any sound in my environment leaking into a conversation, knowing I have full control via the beautifully designed display.
Mary C.
Game Changer! At times, I'm toggling between 5 screen while in a meeting and would always be scrambling to get my cursor over the MS Teams screen, find the mute/unmute button and click it in a timely manner. MuteMe = Issue Resolved 100%
I was worried because I do not have admin rights on my work laptop and our installation of MS Teams is fairly locked down. The software doesn't require admin rights. No need to worry, it's literally plug and play.
Being late on mute/unmute gives the appearance that someone isn't paying attention. This resolves that image problem. :)

Love it. Frequently take notes in another app, so this makes it easy to chime in without having to reach for the mouse, find Google Meet, find the mute button, then unmute, speak, then mute, then go back to my notes app.

I am a stenographic court reporter working remotely in California. I work on a MacBook Pro and run my court reporting software in a virtual PC environment with Parallels. Zoom is run on the Mac side of my computer and to break onto the record from mute, I have to find my cursor and have it clicked onto Zoom as the active window. When I am taking down the record, my cursor is in my CAT software on the PC side and I can rarely find it in time to navigate over to Zoom to use my voice and resort to waving my hands to get them to stop while I search for my cursor and move it over after taking my hands off the steno machine. No more!!! MuteMe was heaven yesterday on my all-day Zoom deposition. Worked flawlessly no matter window my cursor was in and it was just perfection. Thank you for being the final fix in my remote court reporting set up at home. Fabulous job and fabulous product!
Karl o.
Love the ability to customize the colors. Used a different cable that is more flexible. Use it multiple times per day on Zoom and it has been working perfectly. Looking forward to future (full) Teams support on Mac.

I just received MuteMe this past weekend. My company doesn't allow us to install software on our laptops without a special code provided by our helpdesk. I was never denied installation or prompted for this code, it just worked! I use Voicemeeter as a virtual mixer so my setup is not ordinary or simple. I have multiple microphones and speakers. That said, MuteMe fully integrates with Teams and has performed flawlessly so far. My best Indigogo purchase in ten years! Great job guys!
David W.
My MuteMe arrived today and it's magnificent! Setup was a cinch and I've already tested it with my bluetooth microphone.
The capacitive touch is great, and it looks stylish on my desk (didn't take a photo, my desk is a mess!).
Can't wait to take it for an actual spin in my next Teams meeting.
Glad I bought two off Kickstarter - one for home and one for work.
Jan G.
Finally. The end of having to switch through countless windows to find the right one of the ten different meeting softwares. Finally seeing immediately if the microphone is on or off. The MuteMe works great and makes my workday a lot easier!
Julia F.
I've only had it for about 25 minutes, but so far, so great! SUPER easy to install (don't forget to set your sync settings in Zoom, so you can use the actual mute/unmute capabilities!). It is smaller than I thought (I put a paperclip next to it in the photo for comparison), but it's really the perfect size. It's a little more touch-sensitive than I expected, but I'll get used to it. I have it set to basic red (for muted), green (for unmuted) for now, but I may play around with the other settings. Can't wait to brag about it to my students (I teach classes online using Zoom)!
Changing the Way You Work From Home or Office
Never hear or say "you're on mute" again. MuteMe works with Zoom, Webex, Teams, Skype, Google Meet and much much more.
