Language Settings Causing Syncing Issues

If mute synchronization changes when a meeting app uses a different language, isolate the integration and report the exact app, OS and language.

Start with current setup

Use the current MuteMe app and the setup guide for your meeting platform. Verify the microphone, Sync Level and any macOS permission prompt first. A language setting is not the only possible cause of a sync problem.

Try a controlled comparison

If your organization permits it, temporarily change the meeting app’s display language to English (United States), restart that meeting app if required and repeat a private mute test. Change the meeting app’s language, not your whole operating system, unless its own documentation requires that.

If the result changes, record both language settings and exact versions. Restore your preferred language after testing. Some integrations inspect app controls and labels, so language behavior can vary; this is a diagnostic comparison, not a requirement that every customer use English.

Include both directions

Report whether MuteMe controls the meeting app, whether the app’s mute button updates MuteMe, and whether audio actually mutes. Include the selected language and any error. Do not rely on the old promise that a future release will support every language.
