MuteSync is not supported by this HID tool. Use the MuteSync connection guide instead.

A quick connection check.

  1. Connect the USB device

Use a direct, working USB connection. Open this page in an up-to-date desktop Chrome or Edge browser. Click Connect to Device, select your MuteMe in the browser prompt and approve access. A managed computer can restrict device access.

The expanded tool automatically cycles the LED colors after a successful connection.

  2. Test the light and touch input

Choose an LED color and select Set Color. Touch the device and look for reports in the data stream. Use Cycle Colors to test the color sequence, and the Clear actions to start a clean log.

  3. Disconnect before reopening the app

Use Disconnect from Device when finished, or close the page and reconnect the USB device if necessary. Then reopen MuteMe. A color test confirms a device command, not meeting-app synchronization.

Device recovery

Use these actions only when following a recovery guide. Bootloader mode prepares the device for a separate firmware file transfer; this page does not install firmware. Restart is not supported by every device and can enter bootloader mode on some models.

Recover firmware deliberately.

Enter Bootloader Mode does not select, download or install firmware. Follow the Device firmware guide to identify the exact model and batch, choose the matching firmware and complete the file transfer.

If the device is already in update mode, it may no longer appear in this HID chooser. Follow the recovery instructions for its current state. Do not experiment with a firmware file intended for another model.
