MuteMe
Apple Silicon & MuteMe
Install the MuteMe build that matches your Mac instead of relying on the Intel build through Rosetta.
Identify the computer first
Open Apple menu → About This Mac. An Apple Chip indicates Apple silicon; an Intel Processor indicates an Intel Mac. See the illustrated identification guide if needed.
Check the installed app
In Finder → Applications, select MuteMe and choose File → Get Info or press Command-I. Under Kind, Intel identifies an Intel app; Apple silicon identifies a native Apple silicon app; Universal includes both architectures.
If an Apple silicon Mac is using the Intel build, quit MuteMe, download the Apple Silicon installer from Downloads and install it following the normal app instructions. Reopen the app and check device and meeting sync. An Intel Mac should keep using the Intel download.
About the Rosetta notice
Apple’s current guidance says Rosetta is available through macOS 27. Starting with macOS 28, its remaining availability is limited to certain older, unmaintained games. The earlier version of this page incorrectly described macOS 27 as the removal point. Use the native build now rather than planning around translation support.
