MuteMe
Enable Secondary Click macOS
Use a secondary click on the menu-bar icon to reach settings and quit options without changing your normal mute action.
Use Control-click
Hold Control while clicking the MuteMe menu-bar icon. Its menu includes Settings, Quit MuteMe and an Open or Minimize option, depending on whether the window is visible.
A normal click can toggle mute if Toggle my mute status when clicking on the icon in the menu bar is enabled. Use secondary click when you want the menu.
Set a mouse or trackpad gesture
In macOS System Settings, open Mouse or Trackpad and choose a Secondary click option. Available choices depend on your input device. If the expected setting is absent, Control-click still provides the shortcut-menu action.
