A New Look for MuteMe.com: What Changed and Why

If you have visited our website in the last few days, you may have noticed it looks a little different. We rebuilt MuteMe.com from the ground up. New storefront, new download center, a new reading experience for the blog and support pages, and a fresh take on almost every page in between.

This is the biggest change to our online home since we started shipping devices, so we want to walk you through it.

"A little button. A calmer workday."

Our new homepage headline, and the idea that guided the whole redesign

Why we redesigned

Our website grew one page at a time over five years. Setup guides, release notes, compatibility charts, support articles, videos, product pages. Everything was there, but it was not always easy to find.

So we asked a simple question: what if the website felt like the device? It should be calm, clear, and focused, with everything exactly where you expect it.

The result is a fully custom MuteMe theme, built natively on our storefront and refined through 33 internal review revisions. It keeps the red-line brand you know, wrapped in a darker, more modern experience.

What's new

Homepage

A calmer, darker home

The homepage opens on a dark hero with our red-line brand, then tells the MuteMe story through six benefit stories, each with its own product photograph. Real customer reviews sit below, animated into five stars using our live review totals.

Devices

One demo, every device

Original, Mini, and MuteSync share a single switchable demo across the homepage, the Discover hub, and all three product pages. All four mute modes are included, and your choices follow you when you switch devices. Click keeps its own demo for now.

Downloads

Smarter downloads

The download center recognizes your operating system and recommends the right installer first. Apple Silicon builds come before Intel, every installer stays visible, and release notes are searchable across 56 versions of the app.

Reading

Easier reading

Articles, policies, and support pages now sit on dark, comfortable surfaces. The journal leads with image-first cards, and a searchable topic browser filters posts across 32 topics, from remote work to conferencing platforms.

Customers

You, front and center

A scrolling wall of 40 companies sits just below the hero. The logos rest in gray, come alive as you browse, and pause the moment you interact with them. Reviews from the people who use MuteMe every day appear throughout the site.

Details

The small things

The header shifts from dark to light as you scroll, and back again at the top. A seasonal announcement bar handles gifting campaigns and coupons. Footer shortcuts lead straight to downloads and News. The About page walks through 18 milestones, newest to oldest.

Built for everyone

A modern redesign is about more than looks. Across the new site, animation pauses when you interact with it, when you switch tabs, and when your device asks for reduced motion. Everything stays reachable with a keyboard.

Prefer less motion? The site follows your operating system's reduced-motion setting and tones itself down automatically. Nothing to configure.

What didn't change

Nothing about your MuteMe changed. Same products, same prices, same account and order history, same warranty, and the same team at support@muteme.com. Every existing article, setup guide, and download is still in place. The redesign changes how things look and how you find them, not what they are.

What's next

You may have spotted MuteMe Click on the homepage, marked coming soon. The new site gives us a foundation to keep building on: seasonal campaigns, new guides, and more ways to explore the devices. First, we wanted a site that feels the way the button does.

Thank you for being here. We hope the new site feels as calm as the button it was built around.
